| Bowater- Washer Vat Removal- Wire Sawing, Wall Sawing, Core Drilling | |||||||||||||

| This project was a combination of wire sawing, wall sawing and core drilling at the Bowater Pulp and Paper mill in Thunder Bay, Ontario. The existing concrete washer vat 25b was cut into sections and removed with the use of an overhead crane. Concrete cutting allowed for a new fiberglass washer vat to be set in place with little concrete repair work and no structural damage. Work was performed during a mill shutdown for EKT 90 Inc. Crews worked multiple saws around the clock to meet the aggressive schedule. | |||||||||||||
