Bowater- Washer Vat Removal- Wire Sawing, Wall Sawing, Core Drilling This project was a combination of wire sawing, wall sawing and core drilling at the Bowater Pulp and Paper mill in Thunder Bay, Ontario. The existing concrete washer vat 25b was cut into sections and removed with the use of an overhead crane. Concrete cutting allowed for a new fiberglass washer vat to be set in place with little concrete repair work and no structural damage. Work was performed during a mill shutdown for EKT 90 Inc. Crews worked multiple saws around the clock to meet the aggressive schedule. |

MTO Contract 2003-6025 CPR Overhead at Martin- Bridge Deck Removal Superior Cutting and Coring was the successful concrete cutting sub trade to R.M. Belanger Limited. This project consisted of approximately 110 lineal meters of slab sawing. The project was performed in two stages and delivered one week ahead of schedule. |

Bare Point Water Treatment Plant- Core Drilling Superior Cutting and Coring was the successful core drilling sub trade to North America Construction (1993) Ltd. for the City of Thunder Bay Bare Point Water Treatment Facility Expansion. This extensive core drilling project included hundreds of holes ranging from 2" to 28" in diameter for tie-ins to the existing facility. |

Bowater- Wall Sawing at Water Outfall Wall Sawing was used to remove this 10,000lbs suspended concrete slab. Given the depth of the slab and the lack of access to the underside, concrete cutting was ideal. The perimeter of the slab was cut along the top of the foundation wall and the slab was hoist in one piece. |

Lakehead University- C.J. Sanders Field House/ Hanger Tunnel Wall Sawing was used to cut the existing foundation wall at the C.J. Sanders Fieldhouse. A 10'x10' opening was cut for the entrance to underground tunnel between the Fieldhouse and the new Hanger sports complex. |

N.A. Palladium- Lac Des Iles Mine- Wall Sawing Wall Sawing was used at North American Palladium's Lac Des Iles mine as part of the Crusher Improvements project. Traditional concrete demolition was unsuitable because of a risk of structural damage to the existing foundation. The depth of cutting ranged from 6" to 24". |
